Problem
System integrators and facility managers face critical risks when utilizing standard industrial glycols or uncertified cooling media
- Galvanic & Multi-Metal Corrosion: Cheap or traditional glycol inhibitors degrade quickly, causing aggressive galvanic corrosion in delicate copper and aluminum cold plates, leading to leaks that can destroy multi-million dollar electronic components.
- Micro-Channel Clogging: Traditional silicate- or phosphate-based inhibitors can fall out of solution under constant thermal cycling, forming solid deposits that choke the narrow micro-channels of liquid-cooling plates and block heat transfer.
- Compliance & Export Barriers: Utilizing fluids without internationally recognized NSF HT1, Halal, or Kosher certifications can stall projects during strict facility audits or prevent finished cooling hardware from being exported to global markets.
- Rapid Fluid Acidification: Standard glycols lack robust Organic Acid Technology (OAT) buffering, meaning they turn acidic rapidly under high-duty cycles—requiring frequent, expensive fluid replacement and system flushes.

Solution
A premium, inhibited glycol coolant engineered for precision liquid cooling and sensitive environments
Micocal W-PGF is formulated from ultra-pure, pharmaceutical-grade Monopropylene Glycol (USP/EP quality) and blended with advanced Organic Acid Technology (OAT) corrosion inhibitors. It is entirely free of harmful nitrites, amines, nitrates, silicates, and borates, ensuring maximum chemical stability and near-zero corrosion on copper and aluminum components.
The outcome is a high-performance, transparent, and nearly odorless coolant that provides outstanding thermal efficiency down to -50°C, backed by trusted global certifications (NSF HT1, Halal, and Kosher) for complete operational and export security.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Micocal W-PGF is formulated from high-purity, pharmaceutical-grade Monopropylene Glycol (USP/EP quality) and contains only FDA-approved ingredients. It holds NSF HT1 registration, making it fully acceptable for use as a heat transfer fluid where there is a possibility of incidental food contact. Additionally, it is kosher and halal certified.
Absolutely. W-PGF is engineered with advanced Organic Acid Technology (OAT) corrosion inhibitors specifically designed to protect multi-metal configurations, such as copper and aluminium cold plates, without degrading or causing galvanic corrosion. Because it is free of nitrites, amines, phosphates, silicates, and borates, it prevents micro-channel clogging in high-density electronics cooling loops.
For maximum corrosion protection and system longevity, W-PGF must only be diluted with highly deionized (DI) or demineralized water meeting strict parameters (electrical conductivity <10 µS/cm, total hardness <2.8 °dH, and chloride content <50 mg/l. To eliminate mixing errors on-site, Micocal offers pre-mixed, ready-to-use dilutions custom-tailored to your system’s freeze protection requirements.
We recommend using a minimum concentration of 30% volume of Micocal W-PGF in your coolant solution to ensure adequate corrosion inhibitor coverage. Dilutions below 30% may not provide sufficient protection for copper, aluminum, and steel components. Conversely, mixtures exceeding 70% volume are not recommended as the physical heat transfer properties decrease.
W-PGF is compatible with most premium heat transfer fluids based on propylene glycol. However, mixing different brands can dilute the specific OAT inhibitor package and reduce corrosion protection. We recommend a complete system flush before switching to Micocal W-PGF, or contacting our technical team for compatibility testing.
Yes, we offer comprehensive fluid monitoring services. Over years of thermal cycling, coolants can drift in pH and lose reserve alkalinity. We analyze your fluid samples for pH stability, inhibitor levels, copper/aluminum wear metals, and refractive freeze points to provide clear maintenance and replacement recommendations, helping you maximize system uptime.
We supply Micocal W-PGF (both concentrate and ready-to-use custom dilutions) in 22kg canisters, 200-liter drums, 1,000-liter Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs), and bulk road tankers to fit any project scale.
